They can be bought in Harry's Shop, Boo's Mansion, Yoshi's Village, Shiver City, Star Haven, Rip Cheato, and Bowser's Castle. They're left by White Li'l Oinks.
In Super Paper Mario, Super Shrooms also come out of some ? Blocks and restore twenty HP.
New Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. Wii feature small similar-looking mushrooms called Mini Mushrooms.
