When a Hero of Light touches a Back Cursya in Super Paper Mario, the monster will inflict a curse on him or her. The character is flipped out and forced to use the Return Pipe to leave for Flipside, where Mario and friends must trek back to the area. It can be very annoying to them, so they should avoid these pests at all times. There are only two Back Cursyas in the game; one in the Land of the Cragnons and one in The Bitlands, so this status ailment is very rare.
