If they come into contact with anything when rolling, they explode and shoot out coins. Cactus Jacks appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. They are named after politician John "Cactus Jack" Garner.[2] Cactus Jack's English name may also be a reference to Mick Foley's professional wrestling alter-ego.
