Super Mario Strikers Advergame was an online Adobe Flash game developed by Blit Interactive and published by Nintendo to promote the release of Super Mario Strikers on the Nintendo GameCube. It could be played from the official Blit Interactive website.

Gameplay

The game has the player click soccer balls at a specific angle in order to kick them into a goal in the center of the screen. The goal for the player is to score as many goals as possible before the time limit runs out. Each goal scored is worth 10 points. There is a total of 8 playable characters, including Donkey Kong, Luigi, Mario, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Waluigi, Wario, and Yoshi. The game's original premise was that while it was up, players would play as their chosen character throughout the week, each contributing to an overall score for that character. Each day, the character with the least amount of points would be eliminated from the competition until the last day of the week, when there would be one character left. Because of this elimination process, it is presumed that the game was taken down early into its final week, since in the game's current state, only Wario and Princess Daisy are eliminated.
