An example of the The Brawn and the Brain battle in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
An example of the battle
“Wait a moment - something's different about this Darkmess Puddle. Analyzing now... We're going to need a different approach - to undo this one an enormous power of destruction will be necessary. Hmm, Bowser Bowser icon? Here's someone who knows all about fighting. Perhaps he takes it a bit too seriously though... Er... Why don't we send in Luigi Luigi icon as well? Just to make sure things don't get too out of hand.”
Beep-0, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

The Brawn and the Brain is a side-quest in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on the planet Barrendale Mesa. It is a Darkmess Puddle that is close to the Secret Zone. Bowser and Luigi must be used for the battle. After the battle is won, the quest is complete. The player is then awarded a Planet Coin, the Steampunk Bowzooka, and the Memory for Bowser.

Objective

  • Survive (8 turns)

Battle

The battle is always random, but Bowser and Luigi must survive for 8 turns, on a medium-sized battlefield. Both characters are at opposite sides of the battlefield at the start. The enemies that appear are Riptides, Depleters, and Oozers. Indestructible Darkmess Portals will appear during the battle, containing said enemies. Riptides appear much more than the others, which may result in a Riptide army near the end. After 8 turns have passed, the battle is won.
