Konks are metallic enemies with big teeth introduced in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, seen in grey and either yellow or blue.[1] They function very similar to Thwomps, as their main form attack is dropping downwards when the player is beneath them. Unlike Thwomps, they are capable of moving left and right. They can be stood or touched by its sides without taking damage. Konks are seemingly introduced in the level Jewel-Block Cave, being seen breaking Jewel Blocks. Goop can also be destroyed by Konks[2]
Blue Konks are seen attacking from the bottom, flying upwards when the player is above instead. A giant, screen sized Konk can be seen in a Wonder Effect as well.[1]
