Delay Switches,[1] or Timer Switches,[2] are objects that are found in Yoshi's Story. They give more time to a ? Switch event. To trigger a Delay Switch, a Yoshi must shoot an egg at it to flip it. There are many Delay Switches in certain levels. Delay Switches also act as ? Switches, so when a Yoshi attempts to flip one of the panels without pressing the ? Switch first, the event starts normally as if he pressed the ? Switch. When the music becomes sped-up, the Yoshi has little time left in the event unless he flips another Delay Switch with another egg.
