First appearance | Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope (Rayman in the Phantom Show) (2023) |
Cryoquake is a Spark in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, exclusive to the Rayman in the Phantom Show DLC. The player gains access to Cryoquake at the start of the Unlikely Team-Up battle. The "Spark Road Trip" Memory indicates that Cryoquake, along with Selfie were rescued after the defeat of Cursa.
In battle, Cryoquake's ability is Shockwave Frostbite, which causes three shockwaves around the hero, dealing damage to enemies in range as well as inflict them the Frostbite Super Effect. Cryoquake's passive ability is Frostbite Protector, which decreases all Super Effect damage taken, as well as providing resistance to the Frostbite Super Effect. Cryoquake starts at level one and can be upgraded to level three. Each level earned grants a 10% damage boost to Shockwave Frostbite, and the Super Effect damage taken is reduced even more for Frostbite Protector.
Cryoquake is a large cyan Spark which has the bottom half of its body covered with snow and icicles. Cryoquake's appearance and ability are similar to Toxiquake, Zephyrquake, Aquaquake and Electroquake. Cryoquake's name is a portmanteau of the words "cryo" and "quake".
