Level EX-10 (Level x-8 in the GBA version) is the tenth/eighth of the Expert levels Mario vs. Donkey Kong and its remake. It is set in Donkey Kong Jungle Plus. It requires 72 (80 in the remake) gold stars to unlock. In the Nintendo Switch remake, the target time for this level's Time Attack is 10.00.

In the remake, the background used is the same as Donkey Kong Jungle, despite it using the same tileset as Donkey Kong Jungle Plus.

Overview[edit]

The player starts at the top of the level, and there are several Donut Blocks the player needs to jump between while avoiding spiked platforms. By jumping between the Donut Blocks on the right, the player will reach a Donut Block with the yellow Present over it. Jumping off of this block when it is close to the spikes below will allow the player to reach the Key and unlock the door on the ground.

Present locations[edit]

To get all of the Presents, the player has to make use of Handstand Double Jumps to move between Donut Blocks.

  • Red: Below a Donut Block to the left of the player's starting position.
  • Yellow: Above a Donut Block to the far right.
  • Blue: Below a Donut Block to the left of the Key. The player needs to jump off of the Donut Block after getting the Present to avoid falling into the spikes.
