Revision as of 14:29, August 22, 2024
It has been requested that this article be rewritten and expanded to include more information. Reason: Write in-game stage quotes
- This article is about a list of microgames organized by stage. For a list of microgames organized by form, see Form Stones.
The following is a list of all the microgames featured in WarioWare: Move It! Individual microgames can be played in the Museum. Each microgame uses a certain form, which tells the player how they should hold the Joy-Con (referred to as the Form Stones in Move It!) during the game. Most stages introduce new forms. Stone-Cold Welcome consists of 13 microgames, and the rest of the levels consist of 21 each, making up a total of 223 microgames.
A microgame with a bold font means that it has a two-player version, while one with an italic font means that it lasts twice as long.
75 of the microgames have a two-player version. 23 of them have a different description than solo.
Stone-Cold Welcome
Stone-Cold Welcome is Wario's set of microgames, and it is the only one available from the start. All games involve Wario in some way. The only used form is Choo Choo, which is revealed on a stone tablet before every microgame. The intermission stage consists of Wario being chased by the Woods Watchers. The number of lives is depicted by garlic. If the player wins, the Form Stones glow and Wario runs ahead of the Woods Watchers, as two more jump in from the sides of the trail. If the player loses, the Woods Watchers gain on Wario and a garlic cracks. When the player loses all of their lives, the Woods Watchers catch up to Wario and trap him in a cage before displaying "Game Over." If the player succeeds in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, Wario breaks out of the cage and the chase resumes.

Mermaid Meet and Greet
Mermaid Meet and Greet is Mona's set of microgames, unlocked when Stone-Cold Welcome has been beaten. It introduces two new forms: Sky Stretch and Knight. The intermission stage consists of Mona swimming through the ocean. The number of lives is depicted by oxygen tanks. Fish are formed to depict the score. A coral plant blows a bubble showing the form, as a school of fish appears in front of Mona to reveal a microgame. If the player wins, the school of fish dissipates to reveal a sea turtle, manatee, or manta ray. If the player loses, an octopus is revealed instead, which sprays Mona with ink, and an oxygen tank leaks and drops as she shakes her head to dissipate the ink; if a tag-in is triggered, she does not shake her head. When the player encounters the boss, Mona encounters a swarm of fish consisting of clownfish, regal tang fish, yellow tang fish, and Moorish idol fish. When the boss is defeated, the school dissipates to reveal a mermaid (a silhouette in Story Mode, and an actual mermaid afterwards). When the player loses all of their lives, the ink completely covers the screen, and "Game Over" is displayed. If the player succeeds in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, Mona shakes off the ink and continues to swim.

A Curious Case of Cave Art
A Curious Case of Cave Art is Dr. Crygor, Penny, and Mike's set of microgames, unlocked when Mermaid Meet and Greet has been beaten. It introduces two new forms: Massage and Big Cheese, as well as the Trust Tether Sign, if this level is played before Ashley or Orbulon's levels. The intermission stage consists of Crygor, Penny, and Mike standing on a stage in front of the Caresawayan, who is making requests to the three. The number of lives is depicted by pencils. One of the creatures from the intro opens its mouth to show the form, and the score is shown on a sign in the back, controlled by one of the dinosaurs. If the player wins, the Caresawayan scribbles a number of drawings on his stone tablet as Crygor, Penny, and Mike strike individual poses and both of the creatures bounce. If the player loses, Crygor, Penny, and Mike fall on the ground as the Caresawayan expresses frustration, and a pencil breaks and snaps. When the boss stage is won, the three link hands in a group pose, while the Caresawayan produces art in a frenzy. When the player loses all of their lives, the Caresawayan leaves, and "Game Over" is displayed. If the player is successful in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, the Caresawayan comes back.

Caveat Imptor
Caveat Imptor is Ashley and Red's set of microgames, unlocked when Mermaid Meet and Greet has been beaten. It introduces two new forms: Tug-of-War and Scales, as well as the Trust Tether Sign, if this level is played before Orbulon or Dr. Crygor's levels. The intermission stage consists of Ashley feeding a shrunken Red some red berries, and dancing unbloomed tulips. The score indicator is a worm on a leaf. The number of lives are represented by potion vials. A tulip spits out a seed revealing the form. If the player wins, Red eats the berry happily, and tulips bloom and dance. If the player loses, Red still eats it, but gets sick from the discolored berry and turns blue, and a potion vial pops open to heal him; if a tag-in is triggered, Red does not turn blue. During a Speed-Up, Ashley fills her basket with more red berries. When the player encounters the boss, Ashley feeds Red the rest of the berries in her basket at the same time. When the boss is defeated, Red becomes full, and tulips bloom and sway. When the player loses all their lives, Red faints with birds circling his head and a "Game Over" appears. If the player succeeds in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, Red is revived.

Sweet Dreams, Sweeter Fruit
Sweet Dreams, Sweeter Fruit is Orbulon's set of microgames, unlocked when Mermaid Meet and Greet has been beaten. It introduces three new forms: Lifter, Gift Giver, and Ba-KAW, as well as the Trust Tether Sign, if this level is played before Ashley or Dr. Crygor's levels. The intermission stage consists of tiny Orbulons mining into neurons within Orbulon's mindscape in order to recover memories. The background, when not covered in purple fog, features various elements of Orbulon's stages from past WarioWare games such as a rocket ship from WarioWare: D.I.Y. and a pyramid and golden moai from WarioWare: Get It Together!. The number of lives is represented by pickaxes. The score indicator is on a smaller neuron in the corner. If the player wins, shiny liquid erupts the neuron as the Orbulons celebrate, and the fog in the background clears up before transitioning to the next neuron. If the player loses, smoke comes out instead, the Orbulons fight with each other, and a pickaxe detaches from its handle before transitioning; if a tag-in is triggered, there is no smoke or transition and the Orbulons pick back up their pickaxes. During a speed up, Alien Bunnies can be seen flying across. When the player encounters the boss, the Orbulons begin mining into a neuron with an orange nucleus. If the boss is defeated, the Oinker comes out of the neuron with the liquid (only in Story Mode). When the player loses all their lives, fog fully covers the screen. If the player succeeds in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, the fog dissipates and the Orbulons continue to mine.

Not-So-Relaxing Rapids
Not-So-Relaxing Rapids is the first remix stage, unlocked when "A Curious Case of Cave Art", "Caveat Imptor", and "Sweet Dreams, Sweeter Fruit" have been beaten. Every microgame from the first half except for the Intro games are mixed together starting on Level 2. The intermission stage consists of a tour bus carrying Mona, Lulu, Dr. Crygor, Penny, Mike, Ashley, Red, and Orbulon through an off-road trail. The score is displayed on a flag on the bus. The number of lives are represented by wheels. A rock falling out of a nearby cliff shows the form. The bus enters a tunnel revealing a microgame. If the player wins, birds fly across and the passengers celebrate. If the player loses, the bus passes through an area covered in warning signs and jagged rocks, popping one of the tires, as the passengers recoil; if a tag-in is triggered, the passengers do not react. During the Speed-Up, the bus drives across a river. When the player encounters the boss, the tunnel has vegetation above. When the player loses all their lives, the bus breaks down, and the area rains. If the player succeeds in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, the area stops raining while the bus restarts and the exploration continues. The boss microgames are always on Level 3 and cycle between Muscle Road, Poison Apple, Flight of Icarus, and Candle Bear.

The Grand Parfait Adventure
The Grand Parfait Adventure is Kat and Ana's set of microgames, unlocked when Not-so-Relaxing Rapids has been beaten. It introduces three new forms: At Attention, Fashionista, and Hand Model. The intermission stage consists of Kat and Ana hopping on leaves to reach a carnivorous plant. The score is displayed on a shuriken and the digits are made of origami. The number of lives is represented by katanas. A scroll is unrolled to reveal a form and the duo reaches the head to reveal a microgame. If the player wins, Kat and Ana slay the plant. If the player loses, the plant eats Kat and Ana before spitting them towards the next plant, and a katana drops; if a tag-in is triggered, the plant drops them back down to its own leaves. During a speed-up, Kat and Ana each throw a shuriken at each of the plant's tentacles. When the player encounters the boss, Kat and Ana encounter Cractus. When the player loses all their lives, Kat and Ana become dizzy and a "Game Over" appears. If the player succeeds in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, Kat and Ana regain consciousness and the battle continues.

Battle on Flashfreeze Cape!
Battle on Flashfreeze Cape! is Young Cricket and Master Mantis' set of microgames, unlocked when Not-so-Relaxing Rapids has been beaten. It introduces two new forms: Crocodile and Squat. The intermission stage consists of Young Cricket fighting off penguin warriors on a snowy Flashfreeze Cape with the stage itself resembling a fighting game and Master Mantis watching from behind. The number of lives is represented by a health bar. Master Mantis holds up a sign showing the form. The score is determined by a round number appearing on screen before displaying itself on the top-right corner. A warrior appears to reveal a microgame. If the player wins, Young Cricket knocks the warrior off the cliff. If the player loses, the warrior pushes Young Cricket before jumping away, and one unit of health is depleted; if a tag-in is triggered, the warrior stays put. During the Speed-Up, penguins fly across the screen. When the player encounters the boss, the head warrior appears and both it and Cricket erupt in flames. When the boss is defeated, the warrior kneels down in Story Mode, and gets kicked off the cliff afterwards. When the player loses all their lives, the warrior knocks Young Cricket off the cliff. If the player succeeds in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, Cricket jumps back onto the cliff. This is the only intermission stage that uses one chain during a Tag-In Challenge for a life icon as opposed to two chains forming an "X".

Surfin' Surprise
Surfin' Surprise is Jimmy T's set of microgames, unlocked when Not-so-Relaxing Rapids has been beaten. It introduces three new forms: Archer, Lovestruck, and Pounce. The intermission stage consists of Jimmy T surfing on a shark. The number of lives is represented by surfboards. A dolphin carries a sign showing the form. As Jimmy encounters a wave, a microgame is revealed. If the player wins, Jimmy and the shark jump over the wave. If the player loses, the wave overtakes Jimmy as he slips off, and a surfboard breaks and snaps; if a tag-in is triggered, Jimmy does not slip off. During a Speed-Up, dolphins and clownfish are seen swimming along. When the player encounters the boss, Jimmy encounters a larger wave containing clownfish and starfish. When the player loses all their lives, Jimmy lets go of the shark. If the player succeeds in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, the shark returns and Jimmy continues to surf on its back.

Makin' Waves
Makin' Waves is Dribble and Spitz's set of microgames, unlocked when "The Grand Parfait Adventure", "Battle on Flashfreeze Cape!", and "Surfin' Surprise" have been beaten. The Forms used in this stage are Choo Choo, Knight, Massage, Scales, Gift Giver, Ba-KAW, Archer, and Pounce. This stage introduces the Button Sign, and as such, every microgame utilizes button-pressing in some capacity. The intermission stage consists of Dribble and Spitz racing between two other racers. The score is displayed on a life preserver being carried by two seagulls. The number of lives is represented by gears. A checkered flag reveals the form. If the player wins, Dribble and Spitz speed through the racers. If the player loses, the racers ram into Dribble and Spitz and disrupt them, and a gear drops; if a tag-in is triggered, Dribble is not disrupted. When the player reaches the boss, the racers are both sporting purple outfits with devil horns and driving modified speedboats. When the player defeats the boss, Dribble and Spitz pass all the other racers. When the player loses all their lives, Dribble and Spitz's taxi breaks down. If the player succeeds in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, the taxi restarts and the race continues.

Quest in the Dark
Quest in the Dark is 9-Volt's set of microgames, unlocked when Makin' Waves has been beaten. This stage uses every form except Big Cheese, At Attention, and Squat, and also uses the Button Sign. The stage focuses on microgames based on Nintendo games and products. The intermission stage consists of 9-Volt walking through Shopkeeper Polario's shop. The score is displayed as a video game font on a spider web. The number of lives is represented by hearts. A spider shows a spider web depicting the form. Microgame appearances alternate between a shadow figure through the window and a shelf jiggling. If the player wins, a cat (similar to the one in Gamer from Game & Wario) jumps through the window or a mouse jumps out of the shelf. If the player loses, hands break through the window, or a demonic teddy bear jumps out of the shelf, and a heart splits as 9-Volt freaks out, running forwards and waving his arms around; if a tag-in is triggered, 9-Volt freaks out less, only turning away for a moment. When the player encounters the boss, 9-Volt arrives at a door to the shop's backroom (on subsequent playthroughs, the door opens up to reveal another corridor). When the player defeats the boss, the door slowly opens. When the player loses all their lives, 9-Volt encounters a swarm of bats. If the player succeeds in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, the swarm of bats fly off and 9-Volt continues exploring. If the player loses the boss microgame, 9-Volt encounters a group of evil spirits. In a similar case to the swarm of bats, if the player is successful in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, the evil spirits disperse.

Pool-Party Panic
Pool-Party Panic is the second remix stage, unlocked when Quest in the Dark has been beaten. Every microgame from the second half are mixed together starting on Level 2. The intermission stage consists of a tour bus carrying Kat, Ana, Young Cricket, Master Mantis, Jimmy T, Dribble, Spitz, 9-Volt, 5-Volt, 18-Volt, and 13-Amp through a city. The score is displayed as a constellation of stars. The number of lives is represented by wheels. The form comes out from one of the buildings. The bus enters a tunnel revealing a microgame. If the player wins, fireworks light up the sky as the passengers celebrate. If the player loses, two garbage trucks pass by the bus leaving odor to the passengers who recoil, and popping one of the tires; if a tag-in is triggered, the passengers do not react. Each microgame host reacts to each win and loss. During a Speed-Up, spotlights appear in the background. When the player encounters the boss, carnival rides appear, and the tunnel has decorative neon signs. When the player loses all their lives, the bus breaks down and the odor from the garbage trucks covers the entire area. If the player succeeds in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, the odor wears off while the bus restarts and the exploration continues. The boss microgames are always on Level 3 and cycle between Uniform Distribution, Rocket Punch, Cut of the Profit, Super Mario 64 DS, and Griddlebot.

Lava at First Sight
Lava at First Sight is Volcano Wario's set of microgames, unlocked when Pool-Party Panic has been beaten. This stage features microgames depicting Wario in some way and uses every form except for Sky Stretch, Tug-of-War, and Pounce as well as every non-boss Intro game, all of which start on Level 2. The intermission stage consists of Volcano Wario with silhouettes of WarioWare, Inc. employees looking at it. The number of lives is represented by god statues. A Woods Watcher shows a sign depicting the form. If the player wins, Volcano Wario calms for a moment as the crowd dances, and more guests appear with some of them being elephants and later giants. If the player loses, Volcano Wario becomes agitated and emits smoke as some of the crowd leaves while others faint, and a god statue collapses; if a tag-in is triggered, Volcano Wario does not emit smoke, and no one leaves. When the player encounters the boss, giants can be seen in the back and Volcano Wario's eyes and mouth turn red. When the player defeats the boss, Volcano Wario becomes flattened. When the player loses all of their lives, Volcano Wario erupts, causing the screen to fade to white before clearing to show lava rocks raining down. If the player succeeds in doing the "Second Chance Stance" to continue on the first playthrough, a crowd of guests reappear while Volcano Wario stops erupting lava rocks.

Interruption
- “Dance to deflect!”
- —Announcer
Occasionally, Volcano Wario will attack between microgames by erupting and dropping a ball of magma onto the crowd. The player must copy the dancer on-screen to create a shield that pushes the magma away from the ground. If the magma is kept in the air for long enough, it is deflected away from the island. If the magma hits the ground, the player loses a life.
