- During a Nintendo Direct Mini on March 26, 2020, a character from ARMS was revealed as the first character for the second fighters pass in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, planned to be released in June 2020.
- LEGO Super Mario (pictured) was teased on March 10, 2020 and later officially announced on March 12, though no release date was given.
- Update 2.0.0 for Mario Kart Tour was released on March 4, 2020, in preparation for multiplayer which was later implemented on March 8, 2020.
- Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses was announced as the next DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and released on January 28, 2020.
