The Extension Corps is a trio of Zokket's direct subordinates who are the secondary antagonists in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. The trio consists of Ecks, Ten, and Shun,[1] and their names are a pun on the word "extension."

Description

Each member of the Extension Corps is based on a different type of electrical connector, which is reflected by their collective name, a pun on "extension cord". In the game's announcement trailer, the purple member attacks Mario and Luigi with an electrical orb in battle.

In addition to Ecks, the Extension Corps includes two other teammates. One is a lanky, purple miscreant who resembles a headphone jack composed of his head resembling a male connector and one of their arms resembling a female connector. His design is invocative stereotypical delinquent in Japanese culture. The other is a stout, turquoise ruffian whose body resembles a VGA connector. While it is known that these two are named Ten and Shun, it is unclear which is which as of October 11, 2024.

The Extension Corps share many similarities to the Best Fitness Friends from the Bowser Jr.'s Journey side mode of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, and have a similar eye design to Antasma from Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, the Dark Star from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, and Princess Shroob from Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.
