♥s are the collectible points of the video game Yoshi's Story.[1] They are symbols of happiness and essential to improving Yoshi's Mood. They also recover petals on the Yoshi's Smile Meter. ♥s are earned by eating Fruit, defeating enemies, and collecting special Heart Coins. Additionally, one hundred extra ♥s apiece are awarded for each Melon eaten, each Special Heart collected, and for each Baby Yoshi that survived the current stage.
Mario Kart Series
In "Mario Kart Double Dash!!", the "♥" was used to steal other it that touch the player using it (Such has Bananas, Shells & Fire balls.)
This item also appeared in "Mario Kart GP" and it's sequel, with the same purpose as in "Mario Kart Double Dash!!", except this item may only be used by Princess Peach.
Luigi's Mansion
In "Luigi's Mansion", the ♥ was used to restore Luigi's health, when obtained.
