Anya-Josephine Marie Taylor-Joy (born April 16, 1996, in Miami, Florida) is an American actress raised in Argentina and England. She is known for her starring roles in the horror films, The Witch and Split, and the comedy-drama film Emma. She received several accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award, for her role in the Netflix miniseries The Queen's Gambit.

In a Nintendo Direct broadcasted on September 23, 2021, it was announced that Taylor-Joy would voice Peach in the Mario film co-produced by Illumination.[1]
