This article is about the second floor in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. For the board from Mario Party, see Yoshi's Tropical Island.

Tropical Island (called Tropical Turmoil in the British English version) is the second floor in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. This floor's ground tiles have a purple lining along their top, rather than a green lining as in Mushroom Mayhem. The background features a Shine Sprite without eyes. The music tracks on this floor are arrangements of one of the level themes that play in Donkey Kong Jungle from Mario vs. Donkey Kong.

This floor introduces several new objects, including Color Switches, sliding doors, sliding bridges, rafts, Warp Pipes, Crumble Blocks, and ? Blocks, which spawn a Fire Flower that can turn Mini Mario into Fire Mini Mario. Newly introduced enemies that appear on this floor include Bloopers, Cuttacuttas, and Capture Kongs, while Piranha Plants and Shy Guys return from Mushroom Mayhem. Starting on this floor, Bob-ombs appear alongside Shy Guys in Shy Guy Smash!.

Upon completing Boss Game 2, the Tropical Island construction kit is unlocked for the Construction Zone. After being defeated in Boss Game 2, Donkey Kong flees to Pipe Works.
