Three Door Monty is a Battle minigame in Mario Party 3 and a Free-for-All minigame in Mario Party: The Top 100.

Overview

Gameplay from Mario Party 3

Players observe a Koopa Troopa, Toad, and Boo (replaced by a Goomba in Mario Party: The Top 100) enter doors. Afterward, they answer the question of which door was entered by which character. The player who first answers correctly wins, but if none of the players do, it is a draw.

The minigame title is a play on the game three-card monte as well as the Monty Hall problem involving three doors.

• Game Rules – "Toad, Boo and Koopa will enter the castle. Remember which door each one enters, then be the quickest to answer!"
• Advice – "If you choose the wrong door, you're out. Hurry, but don't panic!"

• Description – "Press the button of the gate where the character hid! The first to answer wins!"
• On-screen – "Remember which gate the shown character ended up at and answer quickly!"
