Gold Digger

Gold Digger is a microgame in the Strange folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. The microgame also returns in WarioWare: Touched! in the Retro Action stage, and also in WarioWare: D.I.Y. When starting the microgame, the message Pick! will appear in the middle of the screen. Nose picking is a recurring theme in the WarioWare series, as it is one of Wario's various unhygienic habits.

History

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!

Template:Minigame-infobox At the top of the screen, there is a large nose. At the bottom of the screen, there is a hand with a finger sticking up moving back and forth. The player must press the button when the finger lines up with a nostril to "dig for gold". If the player does so, the game is won. However, if the player doesn't put the finger into the nostril, or if time is up, the player will lose the microgame.

• 1st level difficulty: The player must pick the nose with the pinky finger.
• 2nd level difficulty: The player must pick the nose with the index finger.
• 3rd level difficulty: The player must pick the nose with both the index and middle fingers.

WarioWare: Touched!

Gold Digger is also found in WarioWare: Touched! in the Retro Action stage. In fact, the microgame is based on the original one, and the level difficulties are the same. However, the goal in this game is a bit harder than in the previous game, requiring the player to score 15 points, instead of the original 10. The objective is similar to WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!'s microgame; this time using the stylus to tap the button on the Game Boy Advance to pick the nose.

WarioWare: D.I.Y.

Template:Minigame-infobox To win this game, the player has to put the moving finger in one of the nose's nostrils. To do so, they must tap the finger at the right time. If the player doesn't put it in the nostril or when time's up, they'll lose the game.

Game & Wario

This version comes from the mini game, "Gamer", and can also be unlocked as a solo game in the "Cluck-A-Pop" machine. (Known as "Chick-N-Win" in Europe and Australia) Like usual, this player must pick a nose to win the game, but occasionally, a mouth may appear instead. In this case, picking it will result in losing the game.

The Game Over Screen in Gamer (when 5-Volt sees 9-Volt playing) contains a poster of Gold Digger.

WarioWare Gold

A version of this microgame is set to appear in WarioWare Gold for Nintendo 3DS as one of over 300 microgames included. This version appears to have the same music as the iteration in Game & Wario.
