Adventure Tours

Adventure Tours is a Single-player adventure mode in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Nintendo DS) in which you can play as Mario and Sonic. These two characters are only playable while exploring the overworld. After selecting a mission, it is upon the player’s decision to play any character. However, the player will have to unlock more characters before. At the beginning of the game, only Mario and Sonic can be played in missions. Every character that can be played troughout the game, can be unlocked. There are also rivial characters that cannot be unlocked, but they will take apart of the game’s story. Also, a Toad will guide you in the story mode alongside Mario and Sonic.

Mini-game List

Troughout the player’s adventure, there will be mini-game events, where the player has to solve a certain problem assigned to a certain character. All of the mini-games have a time limit, and if that time-limit is expelled, the player has to finish the mini-game again. Overhaul, there are 14 mini-games in Adventure Tours that have to be played, and can also be replayed once Adventure Tours is beaten. You can replay the mini-games in the main menu of Adventure Tours by pressing on the “Play Mini-game” button. If every mini-game is completed, you will recieve the emblem “Mini-Master Emblem”.

	Luigi	Get the key!	Avoid Boo and get batteries to turn on the light. Use the light to find the key!
	Peach	Cheer Up Thwomp!	Hit Thwomp with hearts when its eyes are open. Stop when they close, or it’ll get mad!
	Amy	Push the Button!	Hit the Bowser Jr., Metal Sonic, Bowser, and Dr. Eggman marks in order, then the top!
	Yoshi	Light Five Lamps!	Press the glowing buttons to light lamps. Learn the pattern and get all 5 lamps lit!
	Tails	Pick the Right Part!	Pick the right part from 3 choices 5 times to win! Wrong parts will count against you!
	Shadow	Arrange the Marks!	First description: ... Second description: Stop the Bowser, Bowser Jr., Metal Sonic, and Dr. Eggman panels in left to right order.
	Knuckles	Break the Ice!	Press the indicated button to punch the ice. Get 10 in a row to perform a rush attack!
	Silver	Stop the Robo-Balls!	Use psychic powers to stop all 5 Robo-Balls. They get faster with every ball you stop.
	Blaze	Move the Blocks!	Thaw out blocks with flame and move 4 to the matching marks!
	Donkey Kong	Climb to the Top!	Scale the pillar while dodging bombs and punching out ice. Grab bananas for extra speed!
	Vector	Quiz Time!	Answer 5 questions right on Charmy’s quiz! Wrong answers are subtracted from the count!
	Daisy	Chase off Kiki!	Hit Kiki with snowballs until his HP reaches 0. If you hit Chao, Daisy will get upset!
	Wario	Blow Away Chain Chomp!	Blow away Chain Chomp with a Wario Waft! You lose if Wario falls off the stage.
	Waluigi	Defeat Bomb Flapper!	Throw back Bob-ombs to reduce the Bomb Flapper’s HP to 0! Green Bob-omb will chase you!
