This article is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it is being worked on. We hope to have it completed as soon as possible.

Note: this article is a work in progress. I've run out of time to complete it today, so please do not delete it. I still need to finish the New Super Mario Bros. U game style segment, as well as the original Super Mario Maker games.

Ground in the Super Mario Maker series (Super Mario Maker, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, and Super Mario Maker 2) has a chance to appear with a ground decoration above it (excluding the Super Mario 3D World game style). There are four different sizes that can appear, being a 1x1 tile large decoration, a 1x2 large, 1x3, and 3x1. Most ground decorations change colors with night themes to match the darker atmosphere, and said palette changes are not covered in this table, but some ground decorations change completely, and those will be covered.
