Level EX-14 is the fourteenth of the Expert levels in the Nintendo Switch remake of Mario vs. Donkey Kong. It is set in Slippery Summit Plus. The level requires 112 gold stars to unlock. The target time for this level's Time Attack is 44.00.
Overview
This level combines icy terrain and conveyor belts into a puzzle course for the player. The player must crouch into the right conveyor belt at the start, then slide through a small gap with the icy terrain. Next, the player must slide a carryable spring under the same gap while making sure the conveyor belt at the start is going rightwards to avoid it from sliding into the starting point, then use it to jump into the short ladder. Another carryable spring is nearby which can be tossed into a rightwards conveyor belt to drop it into the same area as the key. Next, the player has to backtrack to the key and toss it upwards into a conveyor belt with the spring's help. Then, the player must act quickly and press the blue Color Switch, then another Direction Switch at the right timing, then slide the carryable spring at the bottom to the locked door. Afterwards, the player must slide under the small gap leading to underneath the locked door, then use the spring to quickly jump to the key and grab it before it disappears, and finally use it on the door.
Present locations
- Red: Above the red Color Switch and a nearby Direction Switch. The player must perform a Handstand Jump to get this present.
- Yellow: Above a conveyor belt that is near the top left portion of the level.
- Blue: Above a conveyor belt that is close to the locked door. The player can perform a Handstand Jump to reach this present.
