Frizzy's Silly amiibo Theater is series of one-minute long videos on Play Nintendo's YouTube channel. The series' episodes are stage plays, with each character portrayed by amiibo and voiced by Frizzy from The Play Nintendo Show, with Mario and Bowser Jr. being major characters. Each episode was published from June 29 to September 13, 2018; a video compiling every episode, titled "Hilarious Nintendo amiibo Stories in a Silly Sock Puppet Theater", was published on Play Nintendo's channel on July 16, 2022.

Episodes[edit]

  1. Yoshi's Pudding Mystery: Blue Yarn Yoshi tells Mario and Princess Peach that someone ate his pudding. Mario then notices a trail of pudding on the ground leading to Poochy (hiding behind Mega Yarn Yoshi) and Bowser Jr., with the former having pudding visible on his mouth. Peach mistakes Bowser Jr. as the one who ate the pudding, which confuses him, and the group celebrates Poochy for finding the alleged culprit as he goes to eat more pudding.
  2. Ain’t No Party Like A Tom Nook Party!: Luigi, Kirby, Mario, and Bowser Jr. are playing a spoken game at a party in Tom Nook's house. Tom Nook thanks the group for coming, and Mario exclaims, "Ain't no party like a Tom Nook party!" Kirby asks who is next, and Tom Nook says that it is Bowser Jr.'s turn. Bowser Jr. picks up a drawing of a cat and asks who he is while he meows. The group then proceeds to continuously answer incorrectly to the question, saying that he is a dog, a dolphin, three pillows, a watermelon, and a mailbox, which irritates Bowser Jr. to the point of leaving.
  3. Bowser Jr., Can I Borrow Some…: Mario shows up at Bowser Jr.'s door asking for eggs, which he gives. Later on, Isabelle tells Bowser Jr. while he is sitting in an armchair that she is borrowing a mixing bowl. Afterwards, while Bowser Jr. is watching TV, Toon Link appears all of the sudden to tell him that he is borrowing milk as he faints from the scare (while "Nintendo Switch Parental Controls - Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 Trailer" plays on the television). Finally, Mario shows up while Bowser Jr. is sleeping to tell him that he is borrowing sugar, making him snap and ask why everyone is borrowing stuff from him. The three then reveal that they were making a cake for his birthday, to which Bowser Jr. responds by saying that it is not his birthday. Mario asks him if they can borrow some cake, and Bowser Jr. screams and goes back to sleep.
  4. Mario’s Painting Masterpiece!: Mario, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, and Bowser Jr. are being taught how to paint by Zelda. Zelda asks everyone to find a partner and start painting and Mario decides to pair with Bowser Jr. Mario asks Bowser Jr. to turn to his "good side"; as he does so, Mario starts to continuously ask him to turn more until Bowser Jr. becomes angry and says to Mario to just start painting. Zelda then says to show the paintings and Mario shows his Bowser Jr. painting, surprising Jr. He asks Mario how he painted it, to which Mario responds by saying that "it's easy if you're not dancing around the whole time". Bowser Jr. then screams and takes Mario's painting.
  5. amiibo Dance Party!: Mario, Bowser Jr., and various The Legend of Zelda characters are dancing at a party. Mario asks to Bowser Jr. to see his dance moves, and Bowser Jr. decides to show him his moves too. However, the music stops and changes to sad music as soon as he starts dancing and Mario starts taunting Bowser Jr., but he refuses to dance as it is not good music. The disco music returns as Mario starts breakdancing and Bowser Jr. tries to dance again, but he is interrupted by the sad music and leaves. As the music returns and everybody starts dancing again, Bowser Jr. returns as he forgot his jacket, and the music changes once again, making him leave again while screaming.
  6. Work of... Potato?: Mario is showing to Toad, Blue Yarn Yoshi, Princess Peach, Inkling Girl, and Luigi a potato exhibit in a museum. Bowser Jr. appears and states that is is just a potato. Mario, who believes it to be a painting, responds by stating that the potato only looks real and asks him to look at it from another side. Bowser Jr. reiterates that it is just a normal potato, and Mario says that it could just be what the artist wanted him to think, which makes Bowser Jr. angrily leave. Mario later shows to the group another exhibit, being the painting of the potato, which makes Mario realize that he was talking about the wrong exhibit. After Mario says that he does not know what the other thing was, Bowser Jr. screams that it is a potato.
  7. Bowser Jr. Plays Hide ‘n’ Seek!: While Bowser Jr. is having a picnic eating Mushroom Kingdom burgers, Mario appears and asks Bowser Jr. if he wants to play hide and seek with him, Poochy, Pikmin, and Wario. Although he initially refuses several times, he ultimately agrees and starts counting. While he counts, he turns around and finds that the group is not hiding, expressing confusion over the fact. Mario says that he did not know that he was starting and asks to count again, causing Bowser Jr. to jump around screaming.
