Description(s)
When an ally's in Danger, cause foes to sometimes miss. (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Nintendo GameCube)
When your partner is at or below 5 HP in battle, foes will sometimes miss when attacking them. Wearing two or more of these badges will further increase the chance that the enemy will miss. (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Nintendo Switch)

Close Call P is a badge in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It is found at Riverside Station, on top of a platform in the first room (though it can only be accessed by knocking it off with the Ultra Boots), can be bought from the Lovely Howz of Badges after Chapter 1 for 100 coins, or are rarely held or dropped by Goombas, Spiky Goombas, Paragoombas and Koopatrols. If Mario equips the badge, the enemy's attacks have a chance of missing while Mario's partner is in Danger, which occurs when their HP is five or lower. A variant of the badge called Close Call works solely with Mario.
