Skolar

Skolar is one of the seven Star Spirits in the game Paper Mario. As his name implies, like most scholars, he's always studying. He has a brown mustache and wears glasses.

Skolar is the Star Spirit Tubba Blubba once guarded. However, the Star Spirit escaped from Tubba Blubba's Castle. While searching for a way out of the Forever Forest, he was captured by the Boos of Boo Mansion, led by Lady Bow. Bow promised to set Skolar free after Mario and his friends defeated Tubba Blubba.

In Mario Party 5, Skolar is the guide of super-duel mode.

Skolar's Power

• Power Obtained: Chapter 3: The "Invincible" Tubba Blubba
• What it does: Decreases enemies' HP by 7.
• Star Power needed: 2

"Advice From The Star Spirits" Entry

Change your battle tactics to suit your enemey. Mario, you must use your head rather than relying on brute strength to outdo your enemy. Think about the opponent, then choose the right weapon. Take Koopas, for example. If you jump on a Koopa, it will flip over and be unable to move for a while. Its defensive power will drop, and you'll be able to do a lot of damage.

It's also common sence not to jump on an enemy that has spikes on its head. Just try to find the most effective technique for each enemy. Incidentally, Mario, you can increase your strength all the way up to level 27. If you jump on a Koopa to flip it over, your next attack will do a lot of damage. You can't damage flaming enemies by jumping on them. Try equipping a badge that protects you from flames.
