Assist Pluck Patches[1] are a variant of Pluck Patch that appears in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its ports. Like Pluck Patches, Assist Pluck Patches are small sprouts with four leaves that stick out of a round hole of a yellow square base that resembles a ? Block but is much shorter. Where the sprout of a Pluck Patch is green, the sprout of an Assist Pluck Patch shifts between colors. Assist Pluck Patches appear after Captain Toad or Toadette loses enough lives in a level. The player can press 
while Captain Toad or Toadette is near an Assist Pluck Patch to pull and grab it out of the ground, revealing an Invincibility Mushroom.
