Banana Grab is an Adobe Flash game published on the official DK: Jungle Climber website in 2007. It is a port of the minigame of the same name and is played similarly, though the game doesn't have a goal score to surpass. The game was also playable from the Nintendo Arcade section of the official Nintendo website, on which it was known as DK: Jungle Climber -- Banana Grab.[1]

Gameplay[edit]

Upon starting the game, the player must use their arrow keys to make Donkey Kong grab bananas falling from the top of the screen within a thirty-second time limit. Singular bananas are worth one point, while bunches are worth two. The player must avoid spiked balls that fall from the top of the screen, as collecting one will immobilize whichever hand touched it and turn it bright red. After the player's time is up, a screen will come up showing how many bananas they collected.
