Heishi Dūke are enemies in Princess Peach: Showtime!, and are members of the Sour Bunch. Heishi Dūke appear identical to the Dūke that appeared earlier in the play The Castle of Thorns, wearing a single bronze helmet with no decoration and a chainmail hood. Unlike the standard Dūke, Heishi Dūke appear to be carrying swords, much like the Kenshi Dūke do, except those of the Heishi Dūke are much shorter in appearance. Heishi Dūke first appear in The Castle of Thorns as well, but only in the fifth scene, a side-scrolling section around a spire that spirals upwards. Appearing in droves, Heishi Dūke attempt to charge to the bottom of the tower and swarm Princess Peach if they encounter her. Heishi Dūke cannot jump to chase after Princess Peach, and may only charge forward. Much like standard Dūke, Heishi Dūke are defeated with a single strike from Swordfighter Peach's sword. Heishi Dūke also appear in the Swordfighter Rehearsal, which is based on the same section they were introduced in.
