Mario 3 is the third level of Boost Pad Bonanza in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. Mini Mario is the only Mini that is allowed in the level.
Overview[edit]
Mini Mario begins near the bottom center of the level, with the amiibo Door in the bottom left. To reach the door, the player must tap Mini Mario, causing him to Wall Jump to the ledge above him, then remove the Long Spring on the ledge so he can slide down a slope. Before Mini Mario reaches the Long Spring at the bottom, the player should tap the Boost Pad above and to the right of it so that Mini Mario can jump onto the Boost Pad and run up the wall. After losing momentum, Mini Mario Wall Jumps to another Long Spring directly above the previous one; the player should place a Long Spring in the space to the right of the topmost vertical Boost Pad so that after Mini Mario jumps off the Long Spring on the lower level, he runs across another Boost Pad which takes him to two Long Springs and the vertical Boost Pad. Jumping off the two Long Springs and running up the Boost Pad allows Mini Mario to run across three more Boost Pads to a yellow Warp Pipe in the top left. After he exits the pipe in the bottom left, Mini Mario jumps off another Long Spring and runs across two Boost Pads; the player must remove the spring to the right of the amiibo Door so Mini Mario can fall to the ground and enter the Door, completing the level.
amiibo Tokens[edit]
The regular amiibo Token is on top of a tall platform near the bottom right. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after Mini Mario jumps to the Boost Pads in the bottom right, they must not reverse their direction so Mini Mario can run back to the Long Spring. After jumping off the Long Spring again, Mini Mario Wall Jumps twice to leap over the platform and collect the amiibo Token.
The Golden amiibo Token is at the top of the level, in a gap between the two sets of Boost Pads. The player should follow the route to the amiibo Door, but after Mini Mario reaches the Boost Pad to the right of the two Long Springs, they must tap the Boost Pad to send him back to the Long Spring he last jumped off. After Mini Mario jumps to the vertical Boost Pad to the right and runs up the wall, the player should place a Long Spring in the top right space and tap the set of two Boost Pads at the top to reverse them. Mini Mario will Wall Jump from the spring to land on the two Boost Pads, which the player should tap again to make him run to the left and fall into the amiibo Token.
