Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga marks the first appearance of "Showdown with Cackletta!" It is also included in the official album Mario & Luigi RPG: Sound Selection.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions[edit]

In the Nintendo 3DS remake of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, an arrangement of "Showdown with Cackletta!" plays for the same purpose as in the original game. It is titled "Showdown with Cackletta! DX" in the game's sound test.
