Just a suggestion; I think that this should just be a subsection in the spiny article. However, I gladly respect any decisions made.

Should these really be sub-thingys of Spinys?[edit]

Split the green Spiny Egg from the normal ones[edit]
In SMB3 were green Spiny Eggs which rolled along the ground. Should this be split into a page for itself with a conjectural name?

Koopa relative?[edit]
Why is it saying that Spiny Eggs are Koopas and not Spinies? They look completely different: Spiny Eggs are not the forms of Koopas, and are instead the forms of Spinies. 51.183.19.94 08:01, May 7, 2026 (UTC)

- Obviously "Spiny rolled into a ball" has the same taxonomy as "Spiny Egg unfurled and walking." Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 18:52, May 7, 2026 (UTC)
I get that it's confusing when something that's obviously a Spiny's egg would be considered a relative of a Spiny instead of a variant, but as the {{species infobox}} description for "relatives" says: "Alternatively used if it's not clear who is the variant of whom (if either)". And to discern whether the Spiny or the Egg is the variant is literally a case of the classic "which came first, the chicken or the egg" question.
