Portuguese names

Please don't add Portuguese names to characters who never appear in games that are officially localized to Portuguese - the names in other languages section is not for fan translations. Italics

Hello, Daita! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros. If you are using a device that uses curly ("smart") punctuation, you may need to disable this function in your device's settings to be able to type out the correct apostrophes.

File summaries

For future uploads, please make sure to replace {{uncategorized}} with an image category link, like this - for example, for Mario Kart World screenshots, you'd add:

[[Category:Mario Kart World screenshots]]

- and select a license from the drop-down menu. Make sure you also don't accidentally remove the closing "}}" brackets for the "aboutfile" part.

It also helps to link the actual video as the source instead of simply stating "YouTube". Mario JC 12:06, April 11, 2025 (EDT)

RE: Tokotoko

The name is directly derived from Japanese, and Japanese subject names are generally pluralised without an "s" (i.e. the plural of "Tokotoko" is the same, "Tokotoko"). Mario JC 07:48, April 28, 2025 (EDT)

A bit late, but according to MarioWiki:Manual of Style, only the title of the article in the first sentence is bolded. Everything else does not need to be bolded. If the title is a game title, then it must be both italicized and bolded. Mari0fan100 (talk) 00:07, May 6, 2025 (EDT)
