Editing[edit]
Hello! I can see you like Super Mario Galaxy. A worthy game to enjoy for sure, but I just wanted to let you know that you should avoid making wide, sweeping changes without prior discussion, especially just after having made an account. It could lead to trouble. Even so, have fun, welcome. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 00:33, May 21, 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, and how do I get a user page? Sentry Garage (talk) 21:49, May 21, 2026 (UTC)Sentry Garage

- On that note, please stop adding captions to infobox images. It is not in our style to add this kind of descriptive caption to infobox images, and some of them are very redundant. — Lady Sophie_17

Please do not create one-sentence articles to expand on later. Articles should be complete from the very start. The Dab Master 15:33, May 23, 2026 (UTC)

Quality of music articles[edit]
Please pay more attention and be more careful regarding your grammar and the organization of the music articles you've been creating. They are riddled with errors and informal writing, which is becoming a burden on other editors to fix.
- Don't use ’ instead of ', it leads to broken links (compare Bowser Jr.’s Fearsome Fleet to Bowser Jr.'s Fearsome Fleet).
- Don't leave informal comments on the pages themselves ("Needs audio sample", "wait does it speed up?")
- Don't leave tables with irregular cell formatting. Pay attention when copying code from other templates such as {{foreign names}}, you are leaving behind broken code and messing with the formatting of the tables.
- Don't leave red links on a page. If a file does not exist, simply do not add it. In the case of an image, use {{no image}} instead.
- Don't publish new pages in an unfinished state, and especially do not publish changes after having copied other pages to use as a base.
Among other details. I strongly advise you to read our Manual of Style, and pay attention to how other pages similar to the ones you are trying to make are formatted. Thank you for contributing, but please try to improve. — Lady Sophie_17

File categories[edit]
|
Hello, Sentry Garage. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file into a subject category. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, images related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]]or one it its subcategories. Media files would use: [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
Also, make sure to remove any parameters from the {{aboutfile}} template that you're not using. The Dab Master 16:32, May 23, 2026 (UTC)
Re: User:Sentry Garage/Yossy[edit]
Hello! I want to inform you that frivolous user subpages like these are not allowed. Subpages must be intended to serve a practical purpose on the wiki, such as page drafts or sandboxes. You are allowed to have this content on your base userpage, however. — eviemaybe
