A Jawbus is an enemy found in the game Super Paper Mario. Jawbuses first appear to be rolling, rhombus-shaped creatures with a sphere for a tail. When the player gets closer, they reveal their dragon-like form. In this form, a Jawbus has a long spiky neck and a spiky sphere-shaped body.

When attacking a Jawbus, their weak spot is their tail. In addition, their necks stretch out, so jumping over them would normally be very difficult. They also keep going in the same direction unless they hit a wall or are hit on their tail. There are several ways to beat them, most of which involve the use of Pixls for help:

  • Use Mario to flip to 3D and get behind it, then flip back to 2D and attack the tail.
  • Use Thoreau to pick it up while it is not stretched out, then throw it at other enemies.
  • Use Boomer in front of it and manually detonate him, or wait until he explodes when it is near the tail part.
  • Use Slim to turn invisible and get behind it to attack the tail.
  • Use Barry to hit it into another enemy.
  • Use Bowser to breathe fire on the tail (this requires good timing).
  • Use Fleep to flip it around in circles, then attack the tail while it faces the player.
  • Use Luigi to Super Jump over its extendable head, and land on the other side to attack the tail.
