+These are my predictions for retro tracks in Mario Kart 9 and why I chose them.

+[[Figure-8 Circuit|DS Figure-8 Circuit]]: A good, easy starting track, and both Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 7 had a basic circuit as the first retro track.
+[[Cheep Cheep Lagoon|3DS Cheep Cheep Lagoon]]: A basic water course, good for introducing the underwater driving mechanic.
+[[Toad's Factory|Wii Toad's Factory]]: One of the better courses from Mario Kart Wii that deserves a remake.
+[[Cheese Land|GBA Cheese Land]]: A GBA track that the fans actually want, and besides, Mario Kart 9 really needs more GBA tracks.
+[[Banana Cup]]:
+[[Wuhu Loop|3DS Wuhu Loop]]: A decent 3DS course that I could see returning.
+[[DK Summit|Wii DK Summit]]: A fun course from Mario Kart Wii that, like Toad's Factory, deserves a remake.

+[[Mushroom City|GCN Mushroom City]]: One of only 4 GCN courses left, and Mario Kart 9 needs a city/traffic course.

+[[Vanilla Lake 1|SNES Vanilla Lake 1]]: Although there is already a snow/ice course on this list, it's about time to bring back a Vanilla Lake.
+[[Mario Circuit (DS)|DS Mario Circuit]]: Yes, I already have Figure-8 Circuit, but Shroom Ridge overlaps with Wuhu Loop and Mushroom City.
+[[Dry Dry Ruins (course)|Wii Dry Dry Ruins]]: I wasn't a big fan of this course, but it's not bad compared to some of the other desert tracks <small>*cough* deserthills *cough*</small>

+[[Cloudtop Cruise|U Cloudtop Cruise]]: My third favorite new course from Mario Kart 8, I woudn't mind it returning.
+[[Bowser's Castle (GCN)|GCN Bowser's Castle]]: One of the more popular Bowser's Castles, it would be nice to see it back.
