Hook Guys first appear in Yoshi's Woolly World. They mostly appear in grassland levels. They are similar to Spear Guys found in previous Yoshi's Island games, but the only difference between them is that Hook Guys hold the spear horizontally. Their spear is slightly curved on the top which makes it look like a hook, hence the name. As normal Spear Guys, Yoshi can turn them to eggs by eating them from behind.
If a Yarn Ball is thrown at a hook, it will become impaled on the Hook Guy's hook. Their hooks can also pop bubbles. Template:BoxTop
