- This article is about giant red tulips from Yoshi's Island series. For the special tulips from Yoshi's Story, see Tulip (Yoshi's Story).
Tulips are giant floating red flowers in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Yoshi's Island DS, and Yoshi's New Island. In all titles, when an egg (or a spit-up enemy) enters a tulip, the flower will begin to spit out eight stars. Yoshi's Island DS has a tulip-themed minigame involving three small tulips called Tulip Shooter.
