Template:Quote2 The Sap Sisters are a trio of trees that live near Ol' Grandsappy in Paper Mario: The Origami King. When Mario and Olivia sit on Ol' Grandsappy's trunk, the Sap Sisters surprise them and inform them that Ol' Grandsappy is sick, who requires the Soul Seed.
After Mario obtains the Soul Seed, the Sap Sisters are horrified when Ol' Grandsappy's face is turned into a Not-Bottomless Hole by Paper Macho Goombas, although they cheer up as soon as Mario revives him. The Sap Sisters then serve as backup singers for the Happy & Sappy song.
