Third Course is the third level of the Mystery Adventures Pack in New Super Mario Bros. 2, as well as the twenty-seventh DLC level in the game.
Layout[edit]
The level begins in an outside area that leads underground. After traversing a short room with Bob-ombs, Mario will enter a much larger room with a Chain Chomp guarding an ! Pipe and more Bob-ombs. After entering a Warp Door, Mario can hit a P Switch to follow a trail of Blue Coins leading to the Checkpoint Flag, along with a much larger room with conveyors, Pipe Cannons, Chain Chomps, Bob-ombs, and a few bonus rooms where more coins can be found. Afterwards, Mario must enter a Pipe Cannon at the far right of the room to be led to an area with the Goal Pole.
Star Coins[edit]
- Star Coin 1: At the end of the fall, as Mario enters the level, he must use a Bob-omb, Gold Flower or Super Leaf to break away the Brick Block wall on the left. The Star Coin is behind that wall.
- Star Coin 2: In the area with the two Warp Doors, Mario must hit the ? Switch to make the left one accessible. Mario must then defeat the Chain Chomp inside the room to open the top part of the room where the Star Coin lies.
- Star Coin 3: At the very end of the level, Mario must break away the Brick Block wall with a Gold Flower or Super Leaf. The Star Coin is behind that wall, hovering above a set of spikes.
