Ultibed
Ultibed from Mario and Luigi Dream Team
Description
"The ultimate bed, created by Bedsmith. Capable of providing profound sleep."
First appearance Mario & Luigi: Dream Team (2013)

The Ultibed is a bed in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team that is created by Bedsmith. It consists of the five Zee Parts: the Mushrise Tree Board, the Driftwood Jellyfish Sheets, the Pajamaja Rock Frame, the Dozing Mattress and the Zeekeeper's Feathers. Luigi has to sleep on the Ultibed at the Pi'illo Temple in Somnom Woods in order to create a Dream Portal to the section of Dreamy Somnom Woods where the Zeekeeper resides.

The Bros. first learn about the Ultibed when they enter Dream's Deep to learn how to summon the Zeekeeper. A statue of the Zeekeeper there tells them about the Ultibed, and provides them a Ultibed Manual to help them find the parts. Each Zee Part is located in a different area of Pi'illo Island, and the player has to visit new portions of every prior area to find them.

When Mario and Luigi find all five parts, they head to Wakeport to find Bedsmith. They are stopped by Popple, who does not allow the Mario Bros. to pass by a Wiggler in the area until they have more experience. This is secretly a check for possession of all five Zee Parts. With the extra experience, Popple has Mario & Luigi fight Wiggler. Afterward, the Bros. can enter Pi'illoper's house, where they convince him to let them look at his Pi'illo artifact collection by showing him the Zee Parts. One of Pi'illoper's artifacts is the petrified Bedsmith, and the Mario Bros. revive him.

They follow Bedsmith to Somnom Woods where he creates the Ultibed. The bed is taken to Pi'illo Temple. Once the Bros defeat its guardian, Pi'illodium, the Ultibed is placed in the center and Luigi can finally use it. The Ultibed remains in the temple for the rest of the game.

Collecting the Zee Parts and Ultibed has has different effects compared to collecting other items. The jingle is different, and the visual effects are yellow instead of blue.
