The Membership Card is an accessory in Paper Mario: The Origami King. It is the only accessory that cannot be directly purchased, and is instead gifted to Mario after he spends 5,000 coins at any shop. Equipping the card, which is bronze when it is first obtained, will allow him to purchase any weapon or battle item at a 20% discount.
Unlike other accessories, whose stronger variants are kept separate, this one is permanently replaced upon being upgraded. If Mario spends at least 30,000 coins at any store(s), then the card will be upgraded to the Silver Membership Card, which increases the discount to 30%. Spending at least 50,000 coins will upgrade it to the Gold Membership Card, which raises the discount to 50%.
