Metroid is a microgame found in 9-Volt's folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. It is based on the NES game, Metroid.
Gameplay[edit]
The objective of the game is to control Samus Aran to fire five missiles at Mother Brain to destroy it. To fire missiles, the player must press . They can also press down on the to use the Morph Ball form and then press up to return. In levels 2 and 3, Mother Brain shoots projectiles at Samus, which cause a failure if they touch her, but can be destroyed with one missile, or can be dodged using the Morph Ball.
- 1st level difficulty: Samus is not attacked.
- 2nd level difficulty: Mother Brain fires two or three projectiles.
- 3rd level difficulty: Mother Brain fires two or three projectiles.
