A Koopa Striker is a species of Koopa in Super Paper Mario. It wears a soccer uniform, including a shell with the black and white checkers of a soccer ball. A Koopa Striker also has large orange eyebrows and a similar body shape to a Koopa Troopa. "Striker" likely refers to the position used in soccer. Koopa Strikers and other Koopas guard the area around Bowser's Castle in The Bitlands, and Koopa Strikers also appear in the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials. A Koopa Striker also appears in the minigame Hammer Whacker. Koopa Strikers attack by throwing their shells.
