A Yoshi Star is an item found in Yoshi's New Island. When a Yoshi collects it, he is able to walk on walls for a short time and speed up but the effect soon wears off. The red Yoshi Stars usually come after the player completes a segment with yellow ones and they give Yoshi the power to blast through enemies and walls. However, the effect soon wears off as with the yellow ones. The trasformation is called Super Yoshi. Template:BoxTop
