A Metal Mushroom Orb is an item used in Mario Party 6 and Mario Party 7. This Orb is a Self-Orb, meaning it can be used on the player. When a player uses it on him or herself, the player turns into metal. Trap-Orbs are then ineffective on the spaces the player passes by. The Orb's music is the same as the traditional invincibility theme heard after obtaining a Star.

- Metal Mushroom is similar to Metal Cap in that it transforms characters into Metal forms.
