Template:Level The Outer Limits (referred to by Squirps as both the "Space Byway" and "Space Bypass") are an area in Super Paper Mario. They serves as the setting of Chapter 4-3.

Chapter 4-3: The Gates of Space

Storyline text

Mario and friends headed to the Space Bypass in search of the Pure Heart.

How did Squirps know about this secret route? Our heroes stared suspiciously at him.

"Why are you staring like that?" said Squirps. "Are you falling for Squirps?!"

In the darkness of space, the eyes of Squirps glinted mischievously...

Space gate needing to be open to pass.

The player must navigate through a short maze of enemies. The area is also home to two Space Gates, the locks of which are both shaped like Squirps; the player must insert him into the holes in order to unlock the gates and continue forward.

The second gate they encounter, however, has two locks on it - in order to get Squirps to fit into them both after he becomes stuck, the heroes must locate Twinkle Mart, a chocolate store located further off in space, and purchase any of the three types of Choco-bars that it sells, which they must then feed to Squirps. It doesn't matter which one the player buys. Doing so will cause him to unlock the gate by splitting in two and thus fitting into both sockets at once.
