Template:More images LINE is a messaging app by Line Corporation that is hugely popular in Japan and other Asian countries. The service is known for its distinct stickers which can be sent with messages. Nintendo has used this service by creating multiple different series of stickers based on the Mario franchise, as well as an official automated account known as Kinopio-kun.

Currently, Line Corporation is co-developing Dr. Mario World with Nintendo and NHN Entertainment for smart devices, which is set to be released in early summer of 2019.

Mario franchise stickers

Nintendo has released multiple official sets of stickers for use with the app. Each set costs $1.99 on the app's store page. All of the stickers in each set are animated, and feature voice clips or soundbytes of the sticker's subject, which play automatically.

Talking Super Mario Animated Stickers

This was the first set released. The set contains 24 stickers based on characters from the Super Mario series.

Japanese versions

Super Mario Bros. 8-Bit Stickers

This was the second set released. The set contains 24 stickers based on sprites from Super Mario Bros.

Mario Kart Stickers

This was the third set released. The set contains 24 stickers based on Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Super Mario's Relaxing Life

This was the fourth set released. This set contains 24 stickers featuring various Mario characters, though in 3D rather than 2D.

Japanese versions

Yarn Yoshi & Poochy

This was the fifth set released. This set contains 24 stickers based on Yoshi's Woolly World, and was released on both LINE and the App Store for iMessage[1] on March 28, 2019.
