New Super Mario Bros. U is one of the microgames in 9-Volt's Nintendo Classics level in WarioWare: Get It Together! It is based on the Wii U game of the same name.

Gameplay

The player has to collect every coin. Touching a Fuzzy causes the player to be knocked out and plays the "Lost a Life" jingle from the New Super Mario Bros. series. If the character has an indirect attack, they can use it to collect the coin(s) and defeat the Fuzzies. The ground theme from New Super Mario Bros. U plays in Level 1, while the athletic theme plays in Levels 2 and 3. After the player collects the coin(s), confetti appears.

  • Level 1: The microgame takes place in Rock-Candy Mines. The player has to collect one coin located above a Fuzzy moving on a single track.
  • Level 2: The microgame takes place in Meringue Clouds. The player has to collect two coins located near two Fuzzies moving on a single or separate tracks.
  • Level 3: The microgame takes place in a sky level on some Mushroom Platforms. The player has to collect one coin located near one or two Empty Blocks and three Fuzzies moving on a single or separate tracks.

If two players are utilized for this microgame, three coins are present in Levels 1 and 2 and five in Level 3. The microgame can still be won after one of the players is knocked out by a Fuzzy. The player who collects more coins gains an effort point.
