The Riddle of the Sunrise Temple is a Side Quest in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on the planet Beacon Beach, specifically inside the Sunrise Temple. This is one of the 5 riddles to solve on the planets. The Quest giver is Professor Backpack.

After the heroes clear out the Darkmess Tentacle inside the Sunrise Temple, they can find Professor Backpack not long after. He is seen trying to solve the riddle of the Sunrise Temple, but is struggling. A room close to his location shows four statues: one is of the planet's Warden, Augie, another is Augie's twin brother Perfectus, the third is the "King", who is the twins' father, and the fourth is the sun. The heroes must rotate the statues to face specific directions.

Augie's statue must be facing the sun, and vice versa, while Perfectus's statues must be facing the "King", and vice versa. After the statues face the correct directions, the riddle will be solved. The heroes are then awarded a Planet Coin, and a treasure chest appears, containing a Star Potion. Professor backpack also thanks the heroes for helping him solve the riddle.
