Big Dry Bones
A Super Dry Bones is an over-sized variety of Dry Bones found in the game New Super Mario Bros. and its sequel, New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Super Dry Bones are usually enclosed in small places, where they can cause Mario no harm. Sometimes, a Super Dry Bones will be on a treadmill, where he can quickly walk towards Mario to attack him. In New Super Mario Bros. Wii, they can be defeated if frozen with Ice Mario and then ground pounded (before thawing), just as Dry Bones can. However, this is extremely hard, as it thaws very quickly. Also in the sequel, it gains a deeper tone.
Super Dry Bones act the same as normal Dry Bones, except Mario must do a Ground Pound over the undead creature to dismantle it. However, about five seconds later, the Super Dry Bones comes back together again. Mini Mario can not dismantle them at all which can be trouble if the player is trying to get to World 7.
Super Dry Bones may be the skeletons of Gargantua Koopa Troopas, or Ankoopas.
