Vanna T. is Chuck Quizmo's assistant in the game Paper Mario. She is a Toad who has hearts on her cap instead of round spots and blonde. Whenever Mario answers one of Chuck's quiz questions correctly, she claps her hands.
At the end of the game, while Mario is on his way to Princess Peach's party, Vanna can be seen next to Chuck Quizmo. If Mario speaks to her, the only reply he will get is a smile and "♥". Vanna T. also takes part in the ending parade.
After the first time Mario answers a quiz question correct, Vanna sends Mario a letter. In the letter, she writes to Mario this:
Hello Mario.
I'm Vanna T., Chuck Quizmo's lovely assistant.

- Vanna T.'s name has two references. The first is to the word "vanity", suggesting she may take excessive pride in her beauty. The second possibility is that she is akin to Vanna White, the assistant to Pat Sajak on the real-world game show Wheel of Fortune (Vanna White herself actually appeared in the live-action segment "Cyrano de Mario" from The Super Mario Brothers Super Show!; a cynical spoof of Vanna White by the name of Vampa White also appeared in the animated episode "On Her Majesty's Sewer Service").
