Porter, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Porter is a Toad that is found during the events in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He is the porter of the Excess Express, hence his name, and checks the Train Tickets of passengers before letting them onboard. Porter loves trains so much, he is said to have a substantial number of model trains in his home.

Similar Toads appear throughout the first two Paper Mario games. The Excess Express conductor sports a near-identical outfit to his, instead with a red color scheme. The Toads operating the K64 and the Toy Train of Shy Guy's Toy Box in the original Paper Mario also have similar appearances to the porter and conductor, with a notable example being the Blue Station manager, who looks nearly identical to Porter.

Tattle[edit]

  • "That's Porter, the station manager here in Rogueport. He checks the train tickets. I hear he loves trains so much he has like, a billion model trains at home. Maybe he's just using his adulthood to buy all the things he wanted as a kid..."
